Hope Grows When We Support Each Other

On October 22, Connection Center RGV, a program of FORM Communities, welcomed community members and partners to Pharr ONE for Global Peer Support Celebration Day 2026. Centered on the message “Hope grows when we support each other,” the gathering honored lived experience and the connections that make recovery feel possible.

The morning brought together personal stories of recovery, an educational workshop on peer support, and opportunities to connect with local organizations at community resource tables. Participants also enjoyed a guided creative activity focused on relaxation, self-expression, and self-care. These moments offered space to learn, share, and recognize the value each person brings to the community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared their experiences, and helped make the celebration possible. Together, we continue creating spaces where people feel heard, valued, and supported, and where lived experience can become a source of hope for others. We look forward to celebrating together again in 2027!

Behavioral Health Roundtable Discussion

Bringing Community Voices to the Table

Connection Center RGV recently participated in the Behavioral Health Roundtable Discussion as a proud member of the Hidalgo County Mental Health Coalition, joining local organizations and partners to discuss mental wellness needs across the community.

The gathering offered a meaningful opportunity to share perspectives, discuss the challenges faced by individuals and families, and explore ways to strengthen collaboration and access to behavioral health support. It was also a chance for community partners to come together, exchange ideas, and find new ways to better serve those who need support.

Connection Center RGV is grateful to be part of a coalition that shares a commitment to mental wellness and the belief that every voice matters. Through continued collaboration, compassion, and a shared dedication to making a difference, these partnerships help create a stronger, more connected community where individuals and families feel heard, valued, and supported.

Divine Women Joins Breast Cancer Awareness event

Raising Awareness, Building Connections

Divine Women recently participated in a Breast Cancer Awareness event hosted by Empower House in collaboration with local partners.

The event brought people together for a meaningful day of awareness and engagement, featuring bingo activities and access to free mammograms. It highlighted the importance of early detection while providing a welcoming space for attendees to connect, learn, and support one another.

A heartfelt thank you to Empower House and everyone who helped make this event possible. It was a wonderful experience to be part of an initiative that promotes health, encourages meaningful conversations, and reminds us of the difference we can make when we come together.
