Empowering Recovery Through

Community and Peer Support

We believe in the power of supportive communities and peer connections to drive mental health recovery. For 20 years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to fostering environments where people can achieve life goals, such as employment, while building lasting relationships. As we continue our journey, we’re expanding our efforts to connect more individuals to recovery communities, whether we’re facilitating those communities, or helping other organizations do so.

Supportive Communities

As our name suggests, we believe that healing happens in community.  The world needs more communities. Since 2003, we’ve operated the San Antonio Clubhouse, a vibrant space led by adults in recovery from mental illness. We envision a future where similar communities emerge to serve diverse groups within our society. Everyone deserves a place to belong and a sense of purpose. Our supportive communities provide both.

A transformative member-driven community for people recovering from mental illness; based on the evidence-based Clubhouse recovery model.

Divine Women

A Peer Specialist-led dynamic, empowering community for women seeking strength and resilience; rooted in a mission to inspire growth and transformation through shared experiences and mutual support.

Peer Support programs

Our communities are rich with individuals who bring lived expertise in recovery. They’ve “been there” and are deeply motivated to support others on similar recovery journeys. Through our Connection Centers, we form recovery-focused teams that deliver services across various settings, quite literally meeting people where they are.

Our Connection Centers

We operate Connection Centers in San Antonio and in McAllen, Texas.  Our teams provide Peer Support in our own facilities, or on-site at partner agencies, depending on the evolving needs of our community. These teams are setting the bar for what Peer Support can be in Texas, and are making mental health services more accessible and equitable.
