March’s Moments of Renewal🌼
As we moved through a month of reflection, resilience, and small steps toward well-being, we welcome you to another issue of the formula.

Fuel the Frontline
A Day of Connection and Collaboration
On March 13, 2026, Fuel the Frontline was hosted by Houston Peer Success in partnership with Magnificat Houses, Inc. and Prairie View A&M University Extension in Houston, Texas.
The event brought together service providers, partners, and community members for a meaningful day of networking, empowerment, and shared resources in support of those doing critical frontline work. Throughout the day, attendees took part in important conversations, exchanged experiences, and built new partnerships that strengthened connections across the community. From the morning networking breakfast to the afternoon resource fair and block party, the event created space for encouragement, collaboration, and collective learning. It was also a valuable opportunity to recognize the importance of coming together, sharing resources, and supporting one another in the work of serving others. ✨
Sincere thanks go out to all who joined, participated, and shared their time and experiences throughout the day. Special appreciation is also extended to the partner organizations for their collaboration and willingness to come together in support of this event.💚

Divine Women - Cookout
Shared Time, Stronger Ties
On March 1st, the month began with a small gathering at Divine Women, where peers from around Texas came together for a cookout and a meaningful time of connection. The gathering created a warm and welcoming space for attendees to spend time with one another, share conversations, and enjoy being in community.
It was a special opportunity to strengthen relationships and begin the month on a positive note. The time shared together reflected the value of community, support, and simple moments of togetherness that can have a lasting impact.
Quote of the Month
“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day is by no means a waste of time.”
- John Lubbock
This month’s quote is a gentle reminder that rest is not something we have to earn. In a world that often praises busyness and constant productivity, taking time to pause can feel unimportant or even indulgent. But true rest is not wasted time. It is a necessary part of caring for our minds, bodies, and overall well-being.
Whether it looks like sitting quietly, stepping outside for fresh air, or allowing yourself a slow moment in the middle of a busy day, rest can help us reset and return to ourselves. This quote encourages us to release guilt around slowing down and to remember that moments of stillness can be deeply restorative. Sometimes, simply giving ourselves permission to pause is an important act of care.
Reflection Question of the Month

When do you feel most grounded and like yourself, and how can you create more of those moments?
Take a moment to pause and think about this question.
