Blooming Through May’s Gentle Moments
Looking back on a month of care, reflection, and meaningful progress as we welcome you to another issue of the formula.

🐎 Saddle Up for Connection 2026
A Day of Riding, Food, and Community 🐴🤝
On May 16, the community saddled up and showed up.
Sixty people gathered at the beautiful Bois d’Arc Trailhead Campground at Caddo National Grasslands for an afternoon of horseback riding, good food, and genuine community connection. The energy of the day served as a powerful reminder of why this work matters.
This event would not have been possible without the support of dedicated partners. A heartfelt thank you goes to Peer2Peer Whole Wellness, Why Not You, Broken Wheel Ranch Project, and Forge & Flow for helping make the day such a meaningful experience.
Special thanks also go to the 10 community organizations that showed up in support of North Texas Connection Center. Their presence was a reminder that this work is carried by community and that connection grows stronger when people come together.

Peer Visioning Summit 2026
A Meaningful Day of Learning, Connection, and Shared Experience 🌟
On May 20, peers and representatives from FORM Communities gathered in Austin for the Peer Visioning Summit 2026. Representatives from RGV Connection Center, SA Connection Center, Houston Peer Success, and NTX Connection Center had the opportunity to connect, spend quality time together, and share experiences with peers from across the state.
The summit was a meaningful and energizing experience, offering space to meet others, attend different workshops, and learn something new that could be utilized in their work. It was also a wonderful opportunity for representatives from different locations to come together, strengthen connections, and enjoy time in community.
Quote of the Month
"Courage doesn’t always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I’ll try again tomorrow."
- Mary Anne Radmacher
This quote offers a softer and more compassionate view of courage. It reminds us that bravery is not always loud, bold, or visible to others. Sometimes, courage looks like getting through a difficult day, choosing rest, asking for help, or simply deciding to try again. These words are a comforting reminder that small acts of perseverance matter and that quiet strength is still strength.
